NCAA Champion and NBA Champion Brandon Rush born and raised in the KC Metro area began his playing days in the inner city of Kansas City, Missouri. Brandon started his high school career at Westport High School and later Transferred to Mt. Zion Prep in Durham, North Carolina. Brandon was considered a Five star recruit by Rivals.com 13th player in the Nation, in 2005 committed to play for the University of Kansas.

Brandon started every game at the University of Kansas where he led the Jayhawks in scoring at 13.5ppg shooting 47.2% (3pt). Brandon was named Big 12 freshman of the year and the first freshman to be named First Team All-Big 12 before Kevin Durant did it the following season. In 2007 Brandon earned himself on the Big 12 All Tournament Team including Big 12 Tournament champions.

After Returning to the lineup from ACL Surgery Brandon led Kansas Jayhawks to a title 2008 National Championship Game. He was named MVP in the National Semifinal game against North Carolina scoring 25 points and 7 rebounds. He was rated the number 1 small forward by Rivals.com for his overall statistics after the performance in the National Semifinal game averaging 15.8 points per game in the NCAA National Tournament. On April 7, 2008 Brandon Skipped his senior season to declare himself eligible for the 2008 NBA Draft.

In 2008 Brandon Rush was selected the 13th Pick to the Portland Trailblazers and then traded to the Indiana Pacers the night of the draft. Brandon Has played with 5 different teams Indiana Pacers( 2008-2011) Golden State Warriors (2011-2013) Utah Jazz (2013-2014) Golden State Warriors (2014-2016) Minnesota Timberwolves 2016- Current.

Brandon won his first NBA Championship in 2015 with the Warriors as they defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers. Brandon goes down with the greats to win a NCAA National Championship and a NBA Championship.

In 2017 Brandon Rush jersey was retired in the rafters in the greatest building of all time Allen Fieldhouse next to the many greats.

Brandon Rush is currently the starting shooting guard for the Minnesota Timberwolves.
